1996 Pokémon Japanese Base Set Charizard, card #6, holo — graded PSA 8 NM-Mint.

The first printed Charizard. The Japanese Base Set predates the 1999 English release by three years, and this is the Arita artwork in its original form — thinner card stock, no set symbol on the early print, and Japanese text. Japanese Base holos are notoriously hard on centring and show holo scratching under angled light, so PSA 8 on a 1996 card is a genuinely strong copy rather than a compromise. For collectors who want the original rather than the English reprint, this is that card.
