A graded Pokémon card is three things at once: an authentication, a condition grade, and a tamper-evident holder. That combination is why slabs trade at a premium over raw cards and why they resell far more easily — the next buyer does not have to trust a photograph.

Almost everything on this shelf is PSA. PSA carries the strongest resale premium on English Pokémon, and the population report is the deepest, so a buyer can see exactly how many copies exist at each grade before committing. Where a card is slabbed by BGS instead, the label and subgrades are shown in the listing photos.

Grade drives price non-linearly. On most modern Pokémon the step from a 9 to a 10 is a multiple rather than a percentage, because surface scratching on holo foil caps a large share of submissions below gem. That is the single fact to understand before buying graded.

Why buy a graded Pokémon card instead of a raw one?

Because the condition risk is removed. A third party has already authenticated the card and assigned a grade that the whole market prices off, and the holder prevents further handling damage. Raw cards are cheaper but you carry both the authenticity and the condition risk yourself.

How do I verify the card before buying?

Every slab is sold in its original untampered holder with the certification number visible in the listing photos. Enter that number into the grader's public cert lookup and it returns the card, set, year, and grade on file.

How fast do Pokémon orders ship inside the US?

Orders placed before 2pm ET Monday–Friday ship the same business day from our Sayville, New York facility. Every card ships sleeved inside a graded-slab protector and a rigid mailer, fully tracked via UPS Ground at our flat $16 rate, with delivery typically 1-5 business days inside the United States.

What is the return policy?
