What sports cards are worth grading in 2026?
Rookie autos from top NBA/NFL/NHL/MLB prospects, low-numbered parallels (/25 or lower), 1/1 patches, and vintage HOF rookies (Jordan '86 Fleer, Mantle '52 Topps, Gretzky '79 OPC). Modern junk-wax rookies aren't worth Value tier unless they have a story (e.g., breakout playoff run).

How long does PSA grading take for sports cards?

Is it worth grading modern rookie cards?
Only if you've pre-screened for a PSA 10 (not a 9). The price gap between a PSA 9 and PSA 10 on a modern rookie is often 5-15x. If centering, surface, or edges are borderline, sell raw — grading fees + sale haircut won't recoup the cost on a PSA 9.
